"Philadelphia Freedom" is a song released by The Elton John Band as a single in The song was the fourth of Elton John's six number 1 US hits during the early and mids, which saw his recordings dominating the charts. The song was written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin as a favour to John's friend, tennis star Billie Jean King, who was part of the Philadelphia Freedoms B-side: "I Saw Her Standing There" (live with John Lennon).

  1. The album I downloaded has a picture of Elton John in a white suit and hat sitting at a piano facing the camera. I've liked his music since I used to listen to it on vinyl on a beat up 30 year old record player rigged to 2 external speakers. We couldn't tell it wasn't real stereo back then. I like all of the songs on this album/5(78).
